Author Guidelines

IJIRES welcomes original, unpublished research from scholars across the world. Please ensure your manuscript follows the guidelines below before submission.

Manuscript Format

• Length: 3,000–8,000 words including references.
• File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc / .docx) only.
• Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt for body, 1.5 line spacing.
• Page Setup: A4, 1-inch margin on all sides.
• Language: English (UK or US — be consistent).

Structure

• Title — concise and descriptive.
• Author(s) details — name, affiliation, email, ORCID (if any).
• Abstract — 150–250 words.
• Keywords — 4 to 6 words, separated by commas.
• Main text — Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion.
• References — APA 7th edition.

Originality

All submissions must be original. Manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism; a similarity index above the acceptable threshold will lead to immediate rejection.

Review Process

IJIRES follows a transparent double-blind peer-review process:

1. Submission — Author submits manuscript via email.
2. Initial Screening — Editorial team checks scope, format, plagiarism (3–5 days).
3. Peer Review — Sent to two domain experts (2–4 weeks).
4. Decision — Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject.
5. Revision & Final Acceptance — Author addresses comments; final decision is communicated.
6. Publication — Accepted papers are typeset and published in the next issue.

Publication Ethics

IJIRES is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. We follow internationally recognised guidelines and expect all stakeholders — authors, reviewers, editors — to comply with the same.

• Authors must declare any conflict of interest.
• Plagiarism, fabrication, and duplicate submission are strictly prohibited.
• All authors must have made significant contributions to the work.
• Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and provide unbiased reviews.
• Corrections and retractions will be issued where necessary, in line with COPE guidelines.

Article Processing Charges

To sustain open-access publication and support editorial operations, IJIRES levies a nominal article processing charge (APC) only after the paper is formally accepted. Charges and any applicable waivers will be communicated at the time of acceptance.
